The country’s leading technology brand Acer Philippines, Inc has brought Francis Kong to its Acer Academy Partners Night held last December 12, 2016 in the Queen City of the South.

With theme “Are You Kong-nected?” Acer Philippines’ academy partners were gathered at the Quest Hotel Conference Center for the technology giant’s updates on its newest innovations as well as its software partner, Microsoft’s latest developments.

Highlighting the afternoon was an inspirational speech from Acer’s brand ambassador, famous motivational speaker, renowned author, newspaper columnist, business consultant, Francis Kong. The self-made entrepreneur has provided educators with a remarkable learning experience as he talked about embracing change. Mr. Kong has also shared his techniques in bridging generations gaps, getting connected, and promoting personal and professional growth through the use of technology.

Another major part of the event was the recognition of the Acer Academy program’s newest Platinum partners the Visayas region namely, ACT International Educational Foundation, Cebu Technological University, Leyte Normal University, Negros Oriental State University, University of Cebu – Banilad Campus, and University of San Jose- Recoletos. The newest member from Mindanao, Jose Rizal Memorial State University, was also acknowledged.

Open to all public and private schools, universities and colleges in the Philippines, the Acer Academy Program takes pride in supporting its members’ career development, sponsoring university events, providing discounts for faculty members, and even making over of a computer room for free.

The Acer Academy Program has started in 2012 and has provided competitive IT solutions to its members since then. The program is indeed a proof of Acer’s commitment to provide a new style of learning. Bridging the digital divide, Acer does not just sell products but offers partnerships.
